Jack's Mannequin - The Resolution

Okay it's "Piano Rock" but it's good. The side project of the singer from Something Corporate.

The Kooks - Always Where I Need To Be

Good UK band.

Flobots - Rise

Okay, the Handlebars song grows on you but isn't the most melodic thing out there. Rise, on the other hand is a great song. Try em both.

Ludo - Love Me Dead

Looking for something nestled between Panic at the Disco and Fall Out Boy? A little bit angst-y and drama-y for me but catchy none the less.

Flyleaf - Fully Alive

Hey I'm not late with this one. What? 2005? Dammit.

Gavin Rossdale - Love Remains The Same

Yeah yeah it's kinda got that ballad sound. How did you get this far pretending you have no soul?

The Whigs - Right Hand On My Heart

Takes a listen or two but it grows on you. Great beat.

Carolina Liar - I'm Not Over

About 2 weeks late posting it but a good tune.

We The Kings - Check Yes Juliet

Reminds me of Angels & Airwaves and Relient K a bit.

OK Go - Invincible

Ok Go get it. Ok so it's from 2006. And it's track 1 so not much excuse to have missed it. Fuck.

Safetysuit - Someone Like You

I'm a bit late on this one, maybe you are too.

Breaking Benjamin - Phobia

If you haven't got all of Breaking Benjamin's Phobia, it's probably worth your time. Besides the 3 you probably know ("The Diary of Jane", "Breath", "Until the End"), there are some you might not have heard like "Evil Angel", "Here We Are", and "Had Enough". When there are several good songs ya know ya really just want the whole album for $9: Phobia [Explicit].

New stuff from them apparently due in September.

Jimmy Eat World - Always Be

Started slow but has grown on me. Brighter than most of their other songs IMHO. Buy it here: Always Be

Fiction Plane - Two Sisters

Good song, a few months old but it's grown on me. Lead singer is Sting's kid (see band info here). Under a dollar here: Two Sisters

Alter Bridge - Watch Over You

Slower than most but in line with Alter Bridge so far. Buy it: Watch Over You

Apocalyptica (featuring Corey Taylor) - I'm Not Jesus

Okay this is my first cello-metal band (!?) Apocalyptica. Good stuff, a little harder, reminds me of A Perfect Circle. How can you not like a line like "I'm not Jesus, I will not forgive"? Under a buck here: I'm Not Jesus [Explicit]. BTW Corey Taylor is from Slipknot.

Celldweller - Stay With Me (Unlikely)

Nice, edgy and hard with an electronic bent. $0.89 at Amazon: Unlikely (Stay With Me). Also listen to a track free at the band's site.

Custom - Beat Me (Remix)

Okay so I'm posting a song that's 5+ years old now. But maybe it's a remix. And maybe I just heard it for the first time. Whatever, it doesn't suck. Could not find an online source for it though, so you'll have to steal it. Custom is just one guy by the way, see here.

Seether - Fake It

Seether doesn't suck. A bit harder than the norm. Get the "Explicit" one, the F word is blipped so often in the radio edit it's annoying. $0.89 at Amazon: Fake It [Explicit].

Saving Abel - Addicted

Good tune, reminds me of Nickelback a little. $0.99 on Amazon: Addicted
